Penny Smith Executive Director

As Executive Director, Penny oversees every aspect of the community which includes the quality of service, amenities, care, and programming for each and every Vi at Bentley Village resident. Penny has worked at Vi for more than 20 years. 

jordan scardigno Associate Executive Director – Director of Sales

As Associate Executive Director, Jordan oversees functional departments and administrative projects for Vi at Bentley Village, including resident transfers, Bentley Home Care, Project Management, Food and Beverage, and Risk Management. He also oversees the sales efforts as Director of Sales at the community, including managing each sales team member, and representing Vi to the larger Naples community. Jordan has worked in the senior living industry since 2003, and joined Vi in 2012.

Susan Keener Care Center Administrator

Susan oversees each care center department – from dining service to nursing care – and provides a quality experience to our residents. She works closely with her team of nurses and support staff to develop a personalized approach for every care center resident. Susan joined Vi at Bentley Village in 2003.

Colleen Billings Director of Human Resources

Colleen works to enhance both resident and employee satisfaction through oversight and management of human resources at Vi at Bentley Village. Colleen has more than 15 years of experience in human resources and business operations. She joined Vi in 2015.

Jessica Medlin, R.N. Director of Nursing

Jessica helps to manage the quality of care and services provided to residents of Vi at Bentley Village’s Care Center, which includes Assisted Living, Memory Support and Skilled Nursing accommodations. Jessica also oversees the Care Center nursing staff, and works directly with the Care Center Administrator to provide care for each resident. 

Brian Sullivan, CPA Director of Accounting

Brian is responsible for all accounting operations for Vi at Bentley Village. Brian, a certified public accountant (CPA), has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare and hospitality industries.

Shep Drinkwater, CEC, CDM, CFPP Executive Chef

Executive Chef Shep Drinkwater oversees the culinary program for Vi at Bentley Village, including menu creation and food preparation. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Shep previously worked at Vi at The Glen, in Glenview, Illinois, and has been part of the Hyatt family since 1990.

Jason Keam Director of Food and Beverage

Jason makes dining an experience. He manages our dining room – from table reservations and plate settings, to the personalized service each resident receives. Jason has more than 20 years of management experience in the hotel and resort industry.

Mariana Vandivier, LCSW Director of Resident Services

Mariana assists independent living residents and their family members should they need support during a change in a resident's health. She also works to ensure residents receive the appropriate level of care and service while in independent living. Additionally, Mariana oversees wellness amenities, and manages our concierge services.
Lifestyle Director

Al Miller Lifestyle Director

Al is at the center of everything social at Vi at Bentley Village. She creates, finds and arranges outings and events for residents like educational lectures, travel clubs, fitness classes, day trips to unique local places, and much more. Al also helps manage the numerous resident-led clubs at Bentley Village.

Gary Pace, CEOE Director of Engineering

Gary is responsible for maintenance of the community’s physical plant, and the numerous buildings on our 156-acre campus. He joined Vi at Bentley Village in 1990 and is a certified engineering operations executive (CEOE).

Director of Housekeeping

Giesele Fischbach Director of Housekeeping

Giesele oversees the housekeeping function for the community, with a focus on providing a comfortable living environment for every resident. She has more than 10 years of experience in environmental services, primarily in the senior living industry.
